Hey........das letzte Football Spiel - flag football - im Stick.
Joe & Dan - halts ja aus, DA muss ich hin....
There will be one more San Francisco 49ers presence at Candlestick Park and it will feature the most important player in team history.
Hall of Fame quarterback Joe Montana will lead the 49ers' charge in Candlestick 21 years after he left the team he led to four Super Bowl victories. Montana, 57, will lead a team of former 49ers against fellow Hall of Fame quarterback Dan Marino and a team of former Miami Dolphins in a flag football game at Candlestick July 12.
Montana and the 49ers beat Marino and the Dolphins in the Super Bowl XIX in Jan. 1985. This reunion game will be the final football game at Candlestick. The 49ers are moving to Levi's stadium in Santa Clara this season.
The San Francisco Chronicle reported fellow former 49ers stars Jerry Rice, Dwight Clark and Roger Craig are also planning to play. Montana had hinted of one final game at Candlestick in recent months.
Meanwhile, Paul McCartney announced on his website that the former Beatles' star will play the final concert at Candlestick in August. It's fitting because the Beatles held their final concert at the wind-blown stadium in 1966.
