Hatten wir dieses Thema schon:
Bekomme gerade von BA die Info, dass ich ein Prämienticket mit Zuzahlung erworben werden kann. Hat das schon jemand von Euch gemacht?

Heißt das in der Praxis, Du kaufst Meilen? Bei AA geht das, glaube ich jedenfalls, aber nur für Statuskunden (ich galube ab Platinum). BA und AA gehören ja beide zur One World Alliance, vielleicht ist das der Grund.

Ich studiere gerade die Bedinungen von BA, aber konkreter ist noch nichts raus, da diese Möglichkeit erst ab 1. Juli besteht. Könnte mir das so vorstellen, das jeweils 1000 Meilen (or equivalent) ein entsprechender Wert zugeordnet ist, z.B 10 EUR. Kostet das Ticket 500 EUR und man gibt 20.000 Meilen in Zahlung, wären 300 EUR in bar fällig.

Keine unübliche Sache, wird bei einigen U.S. Airlines schon länger praktiziert, hat aber nichts mit dem Erwerb von Meilen zu tun. Man bezahlt etwas weniger cash und stockt den Rest mit Meilen auf oder umgekehrt, je nach Sichtweise.
Lohnt sich IMO aber nicht sonderlich, jedenfalls nicht bei den Preisen, die ich bisher gesehen habe.

das neue BA-Angebot entspricht eher dem "Net SAAver"-award der AA, nicht dem Meilenkaufprogramm:
