Erfahrungen mit thomas Cook flight.com

Hallo, hat jemand von euch Erfahrungen mit der Thomascookairlines aus England?
Ist es wahr das man Leute aus England diese Flüge buchen dürfen, weil Flüge von dort abgehen? Wollte einen Flug buchen und ein Mitarbeiter im Chat teilte mir mit das nur engländer buchen dürfen. Bei dem Buchungsversuch fragt ein Button allerdings nach der Staatangehörigkeit und da sind alle Länder vertreten. Da kann man Germany anklicken. Versteh nun nichts mehr. Hat jemand von euch Erfahrung? Ist das so wie bei Expedia.com und Expedia.de, das man bei beiden aber buchen kann. Danke für eure Hilfe

Thomas Cook ist einer der größten Reisekonzerne und in Deutschland gehören die Thomas Cook Reisebüros und Condor zum Konzern.

Ab England bietet Thomas Cook Flüge mit Flugzeugen an, die unter der Bezeichnung Thomas Cook Airlines fliegen. Es handelt sich um Charterflüge, die nicht regelmäßig durchgeführt werden.

In Kanada habe ich schon häufiger die Flugzeuge von Thomas Cook Airlines am Flughafen stehen sehen.

Ich denke schon, dass du einen Flug dort buchen kannst. Du mußt ja zum Ende des Buchungsprozesses bestätigen, dass du die Buchungsbedingungen von Thomas Cook verstanden hast und das du sie akzeptierst.

Ob eine Buchung Sinn macht, mußt du selber entscheiden. In der Regel kommt ja noch der Flug nach England dazu und ich habe auch gesehen, dass noch die eine oder andere Buchungsgebühr zum Ticketpreis dazu kommt (z.B. Gebühr für eine Buchung per Kreditkarte). Außerdem hast du dann bei einer Anreise ab Deutschland kein durchgängiges Ticket und damit hast du die Verantwortung, dass du den Flug ab England pünktlich erreichst. Auf die Gepäckgebühren habe ich jetzt nicht geachtet, aber da solltest du natürlich auch ein Auge drauf haben.

Hallo,

ich meine das es Probleme mit der Umsatzsteuer oder such mit dem deutschen Reiserecht (Stichwort: Sicherheitsschein bei Pauschalreisen) geben würde, wenn nicht in UK&Ireland ansässige eine Reise buchen.

Bei reinen Flügen (ohne Zusatzleistung) dürfte dies nicht so relevant sein. Da es sich bei Thomas Cook Airlines mit Sicherheit um einen Charterflug handelt, mußt du natürlich aufpassen, ob es nicht Sonderregelungen gibt (z.B. bei kurzfristige Abflugverlegungen), die du dann im Gegensatz zu Linienflügen im größeren Umfang akzeptieren mußt.
