US Airways announced that will adjust systemwide capacity, slowing growth, by returning 11 B-737s to lessors beginning in May. With the new schedule US will operate one less daily departure between Charlotte and Atlanta, Raleigh/Durham, Orlando, and West Palm Beach. In Philadelphia, US will operate one less daily departure to Buffalo, Ft Lauderdale, Hartford, Norfolk, Orlando, and Seattle. Three Philadelphia-Tampa flights will also be discontinued. Nonstop service between Ft Lauderdale and Panama City, Panama, San Salvador, El Salvador, San Juan and Newark will also be discontinued.
