Jahr für Jahr stellt sich für Touris, die sich am Thanksgiving Day auf Hawai'i aufhalten die Frage, was ist geschlossen und was ist geöffnet?
Hier die Liste:
• State and county offices: Closed
• Federal offices: Closed
• Mail: Post offices closed; no business or residential delivery.
• Libraries: Closed. Go to www.librarieshawaii.org for information or call your local library.
• TheBus: Operating on a Sunday schedule; information: 848-5555
• Handi-Vans: Operating
• On-street parking: Free, except for metered stalls on Kalakaua Avenue along Kapi'olani Park; holiday tow-away zone parking as permitted by sign; meters in municipal lots must be fed.
• Traffic: No coning
• Parks, recreation centers, municipal golf courses, botanical gardens and Honolulu Zoo: Open
• Trash: Regular pickup
• Landfills/refuse transfer stations: Open
• People's Open Markets: Closed
• Banks/stock exchange: Closed
