All trips from JFK Airport to the first destination in Manhattan are $35.00 (+TOLLS + TIP).
If passengers request multiple destinations within Manhattan, the fare is $35 to the first passenger’s destination. Thereafter, the meter will be engaged and a new trip and fare occurs. The fare from Manhattan to JFK is the amount indicated on the meter + tolls if any.
FYI:
For your own safety, use uniformed taxi dispatchers to get a taxi. See Transportation Map for locations. Dispatchers who are available during peak hours, provide fare information. Taxis are yellow and have medallion shields on the hood and medallion numbers on the roof.
Note the medallion number, which is on the roof of your taxi, on the exterior of both passenger doors and on the dashboard. It is also on the front and rear license plates and printed on your receipt. Also note the driver’s six-digit license number on the dashboard in case there is a problem with your ride. The driver is required to take passengers to any destination in the five boroughs of New York City, Nassau County, Westchester County, and Newark Airport. Except to Manhattan, the fare within New York City is the amount indicated on the meter at the end of your trip, plus tolls, if any.
