Wir fanden diesen Felsen durchaus faszinierend, vor allem weil uns doch die eine oder andere Struktur an den Westen der USA erinnerte.

Am Ende des Rundwanderwegs trifft man dann wieder auf den wildromantischen Weiher:

Auf dem Rückweg kommt man an der deutschen Schuhstrasse vorbei, in dem Ort Hauenstein gibt es ein grosses Schuhoutlet mit einigen Geschäften, die Sonntags geöffnet haben. Dort stöberten wir beide Male, die wir dort waren, ein wenig herum (mit mehr oder weniger Erfolg...) und dann ging es wieder zurück nach Hause.
Vielleicht war es für den einen oder anderen eine kleine Anregung - wenn man so Rote-Steine-versessen ist wie wir und der Anfahrtsweg nicht zu weit ist, lohnt es sich auf jeden Fall.
