Endlich habe ich was gefunden...
Bei recreation.gov ist heute der Hinweis nicht mehr da, dass der Park geschlossen ist. Beim Timed Entry Ticket steht, weiterhin:
No Ticket required.
Und hier steht es jetzt ganz klar:
https://www.discovermoab.com/places-to-go/national-parks/arches-national-park/reservations/» Arches timed entry reservations are not in effect. The Arches visitor center is open from 8–10 a.m. & 2–5 p.m. to issue Fiery Furnace permits that have already been reserved online; the park store may also be open.
» Entrance fees are not being collected. Campground and permit fees remain in effect.
» Visitor centers at Natural Bridges, Hovenweep, and Canyonlands (Island in the Sky & The Needles) are closed. Visitors needing backcountry permits may work with staff at the Backcountry Permit Office in Moab.
» Ranger-led programs are not being offered at this time.
» Roads, trails, campgrounds, trash collection, toilets, and emergency response remain open.
Dann bin ich mal gespannt, ob sich da noch was ändert, sollte der Shutdown bis zum 20.10. beendet sein.
In irgendeiner Form haben wir immer einen spannenden Urlaub.
