U.S. Threat Alert Raised After London Attacks
United States. The Department of Homeland Security THURSDAY (07-Jul-2005) raised the threat alert level to orange for the nation's mass transportation sector, which includes Amtrak, inner-city subway and bus lines and regional rail services, after an apparent terrorist attack on London subway and bus services. The overall threat level will NOT be raised, nor will it be raised for airports, the officials said.
