June 1st travelled 22 miles
June 2nd continued our travel 22 miles. Had rain. Camped at Chimney Rock.
June 3rd continued our travel 22 miles. Camped on Spring Creek
June 4th continued our travel 20 miles. Camped. Plenty of wood.
June 5th travelled up the Platte 22 miles. Camped 5 miles below Fort Laramie.
June 6th continued our travel 12 miles. Passed by Fort Laramie
June 7th continued our travel through the Black Hills 18 miles
June 8th continued our travel in the Black Hills 18 miles, wood plenty
June 9th and 10th we remained in camp 2 days. I was sick.
June 11th continued our travel 25 miles. Camped on the Platte. Wood, water and grass plenty
June 12th continued over the hills occasionally on the bottoms, travelled 30 miles
June 13th continued up the Platte 18 miles
June 14th continued up the Platte 17 miles. Over the hills and heavy sands, often to the bottom and then to the hills again.
June 15th remained in camp
June 16th continued our travel, passed Upper Ferry. Ascended the bluffs and took left hand road. Camped on Platte River for the last time. Travelled 20 miles.
June 17th (...); camped on Sage Springs Creek. Grass scarce, used sage brush for fire wood.
June 18th continued our travel 20 miles. Passed by alkali streams and lakes. Camped on the banks of Sweetwater, 2 miles below Independence Rock
June 19th continued our travel 23 miles, passed by Independence Rock at 7 A.M. Passed by Devil's Gate and camped on Sweetwater
June 20th continued our travel 18 miles. Camped 1 ½ miles above second ford.
June 21st continued our travel up Sweetwater 28 miles. Grass scarce.
June 22nd continued our travel 5 miles and camped for the remainder of the day.
June 23rd continued our travel up the river 20 miles. Camped on the North Branch of the Sweetwater.
June 24th, 25th and 26th we remained in camp.
June 27th continued our travel 14 miles. Camped on Sweetwater for the last time.
June 28th continued our travel 28 miles. Passed by the summit of Rocky Mountains. 8 o?clock camped on the banks of Little Sandy. Grass and wood very scarce.
June 29th continued our travel 20 miles. Crossed Big Sandy and camped at Sulphur Springs. We are now in what is called the Green River desert. No water and but very little grass for 42 miles.
June 30th continued our travel. Left Sulphur Springs about noon. Stopped at dark and grazed the cattle. Started again about 10 o'clock at night. travelled night. Arrived at Green River at 8 o'clock A.M.
