California State Railroad Museum, Old Sacramento [in/near Sacramento, CA], Second and I sts. is a three-story steel, brick and glass structure housing 21 restored locomotives and train cars. More than 40 interpretive exhibits, dioramas, pictures, murals, a 7-minute slide show and a 20-minute film presentation document the history of American railroading 1860-1960.
