Lost Spring Canyon adjoins the Devils Garden area of Arches National Park and was once proposed for inclusion into the park. This little-used area of Entrada Sandstone walls, domes, and arches forms the scenic foreground from the Devils Garden Campground. The National Park Service advised the BLM that "...portions of North Lost Spring Canyon offer outstanding opportunities for prime recreation and solitude." Yet the BLM did not include this unit for wilderness consideration.
