Habe gerade diesen Bericht aus Las Vegas zum Skywalk gelesen,
die spinnen die Hualapai Indinaner, 75 Dollar pro Person und dann nur 15 Minuten Zeit pro Person sich auf die Plattform zu stellen

I watched a story on CNN about the Skywalk. Although 'technically' it only costs $25 per person to go out on the Skywalk for 15 minutes, everyone must pay a $50 fee to enter the Hualapai reservation on which the Skywalk is located. So, the total cost per person is $75 a piece.
The story says one must travel over 20 miles of unpaved roads to get to the Skywalk site. Everyone must wear cloth booties over their shoes when on the skywalk to keep the walkway free from scratches and wear. No cell phones or cameras are allowed when guests are on the Skywalk.
Althought I think the Skywalk will be a big draw for tourists, I also think that the cost of $75 per person could discourage families from going on the walkway. $300 for a family of 4 to view the canyon for 15 minutes is pretty expensive.
Also, not allowing cameras or cell phones is a disappointment too. It would seem that taking pictures to show to the folks back home is a big reason to venture out there.
It will be interesting to see how it all plays out....
